Baking technique explained
Leaving a thick layer of loose powder to sit on the skin before dusting it away, for a very matte, long-wear finish.

How to do it
- Apply concealer and let it settle.
- Press a generous amount of loose powder over it with a damp sponge.
- Leave it five to ten minutes while body heat sets the product underneath.
- Dust away the excess with a large soft brush.
The Moroccan adjustment
In a Moroccan summer, on mature or dehydrated skin, this is usually the wrong technique. Powder left to sit settles into lines rather than setting the base, and every line becomes a deposit.
