What is worth it

Eyeshadow palettes

High-pigment pressed shadow, warm-led harmonies.

The genuine strength. Pigment load is high enough to give the pan colour on the first pass, and the harmonies run warm — bronzes, coppers, warm golds — which separate from deeper skin where the cool taupes of most imported neutral palettes simply disappear.

FauxFilter Concealer

High-coverage concealer.

Pigmented enough not to turn grey on deeper skin, which is the usual failure of light concealers. It wants a very small amount worked warm; applied thickly it sits on the skin and creases.

False lashes

Reusable strip lashes.

Well made and good for several wears if cleaned. On a bridal face shot under flash, applied lashes are not decoration — they are what stops the eye disappearing at the exact moment it is most photographed.

How the shades behave on Moroccan skin

One of the stronger ranges for the deeper half of the Moroccan spectrum, because the warm bias is built into the formulation rather than added later. The shadows in particular do the work that imported "neutral" palettes cannot.

The rule that applies to every brand on this page: check undertone, not just depth. Most Moroccan skin is olive or golden, and a neutral or pink-based complexion product turns grey within the hour however precisely the depth matches. Test along the jaw in daylight.

Holding up in a Moroccan climate

Spotting a counterfeit

This brand is counterfeited at scale on the Moroccan resale market, and the packaging is copied well enough that photographs prove nothing. Judge it in use instead.

A counterfeit fails at precisely the property being paid for. Pressed powder swatches weakly and needs several layers to build. Foundation turns within the hour. Cream textures feel granular or oily rather than smooth. If a product underperforms on the exact quality that justified its price, the formula is not the problem.
