The bridal tradition around Temara

Rabat gives its name to the lebssa r'batia and to the golden rabati embroidery style. The regional signature is refined line and understated luxury — a courtly restraint shaped by the city's administrative and royal circles rather than by display.

Restraint in the garment permits more definition in the face than a Fassi look does, but the register stays polished rather than theatrical. Skin is the priority: even, built, holding.

Rabati embroidery is gold, so the palette runs warm. The difference from Fès is intensity rather than temperature — less of everything, placed more precisely.
