Makeup for coral dress

What actually decides it
The relationship, not the match. Makeup that repeats the dress colour flattens the whole look; makeup that sits in a related but different register lets both read. The one rule worth holding is that the dress and the metal in the jewellery together set the temperature.
Why coral specifically. Coral is warm and light, and it flatters olive skin more reliably than most colours.
A warm cheek in the same family works here, which is unusual — matching is normally the error.
On Moroccan skin, in a Moroccan climate
On olive and golden skin the risk is a cool dress pulling the face grey. A blue or silver-toned dress wants warmth added back into the cheek and lip, not matched into them.
