Nobody needs a 5,000-dirham kit. In two categories the expensive product is genuinely, visibly better. In the rest you are paying for the box.

Where cheap genuinely costs you
Foundation. A cheap base oxidises — it turns orange on the skin over a few hours as it reacts with air and sebum. It also separates around the nose. On a wedding day that is not a small thing.
Highlighter. Cheap highlighter is glitter, and glitter photographs as texture under a flash. This is the one budget product that will visibly ruin a photograph.
Waterproof anything. Waterproofing is a formulation cost. If a product claims it at a very low price, it usually is not.
