How to avoid creasing
Use less product, and press rather than sweep when you set it.
Written by Lamyaa Aissi, professional makeup artist, Casablanca.
How to do it
- Reduce the concealer to the smallest amount that covers.
- Set with a very small amount of finely milled powder, pressed with a small brush or sponge.
- Avoid setting the whole under-eye — set only where it creases.
- Correct colour first so you need less concealer in the first place.
The Moroccan adjustment
Heat accelerates creasing, so a Moroccan summer punishes an over-applied under-eye faster than a cooler climate would.
What goes wrong
Adding powder to fix a crease. More powder on an area that is already too heavy is what caused it.
