When to use it
Only where the problem is. Whole-face priming by default is usually doing nothing.
On Moroccan skin, in a Moroccan climate
Match it to the actual issue — shine, texture, dryness, dullness. In Moroccan heat a mattifying primer on the T-zone alone often outperforms priming the entire face.
The rule that runs through every product on this site: check undertone, not just depth. Most Moroccan skin is olive or golden, and a neutral or pink-based product greys within the hour however precisely the depth matches. And for any long event, set in thin successive passes rather than one heavy layer — accumulated product slides in coastal humidity, while product laid down thinly stays.
What it will not do
Substituting for skincare. Primer sits on prepared skin; it does not prepare it.
The most common mistake
Applying foundation before the primer has settled. That is what produces pilling.
