How to prep dry skin for makeup
Layer light hydration and give each layer time, rather than applying one rich cream and starting immediately.

How to do it
- Cleanse without stripping.
- Apply a hydrating essence or light serum and wait for it to absorb.
- Follow with a cream suited to the climate — richer inland, lighter on the coast.
- Wait again before base. Rushing this is what causes pilling.
- Blot any excess before foundation.
