Glitter eyeshadow
Shadow with visible glitter particles.

When to use it
On a lid, over a tacky base that will hold it, and late in the process.
On Moroccan skin, in a Moroccan climate
Glitter migrates down the face over a Moroccan wedding evening and ends up on the cheekbone in every late photograph. Apply it last or accept that.
The rule that runs through every product on this site: check undertone, not just depth. Most Moroccan skin is olive or golden, and a neutral or pink-based product greys within the hour however precisely the depth matches. And for any long event, set in thin successive passes rather than one heavy layer — accumulated product slides in coastal humidity, while product laid down thinly stays.
What it will not do
Longevity without a glue or a tacky base. It travels.
The most common mistake
Applying it before the rest of the face. Do the eyes first, or clean up after.
