The middle of the spectrum — and it is not simply 'less full glam'. The intent is different: polished rather than transformed.
Soft glam is not simply less full glam — the intent is different. It aims at polished; full glam aims at transformed and camera-ready. Deciding which is wanted before the first product goes on saves the whole session.
The technique it depends on
The blend. Soft glam lives or dies on there being no visible edge anywhere, which is why it takes longer than a stronger look rather than less time.
On Moroccan skin, in a Moroccan climate
Taupe, champagne and muted mauve are the standard soft glam palette and they are formulated against fair to light-medium skin. On the deeper half of the Moroccan range, substitute warm bronze, copper and terracotta or the look reads as dullness.
In coastal humidity, set in thin successive passes rather than one heavy layer. Accumulated product slides; product laid down thinly stays. Inland the problem inverts and dryness decides instead.
When it is the wrong choice
A very heavily photographed event under strong flash, where it can read as underdone.
