On Moroccan skin, in a Moroccan climate

For a Casablanca summer wedding: a long-wear matte or soft-matte liquid on prepared skin. For dry skin inland: a serum or cream formula with real hydration underneath.

The rule that runs through every product on this site: check undertone, not just depth. Most Moroccan skin is olive or golden, and a neutral or pink-based product greys within the hour however precisely the depth matches. And for any long event, set in thin successive passes rather than one heavy layer — accumulated product slides in coastal humidity, while product laid down thinly stays.

What it will not do

Any list that names one product for everyone. The variable that matters most — your skin, your climate, your event — is the one such lists omit.

The most common mistake

Buying the shade that looked right in shop lighting. Daylight and the jawline are the only honest test.
